Sober Living in Florida

Steve Z. At Boca House , I learned so much about myself and my life. I came in broken down and weak. But with the help of staff and therapists, they helped me get on the right path of life. A lot of people doubted that I would make it this far. But I showed that with hard work and willingness, anything is possible. Take suggestions, make mistakes and reach for your ultimate goal. Thank you to all the staff that stuck by me. I love you all. Jim B. Here at Boca House , I found truth within myself. I’ve made peace with who and what I am. Many of my friends have gone through rehab centers, and everyone of them hated every day of it. Here, I was not only in a relaxed environment, allowing us freedoms, but I’ve gained more out a month and a half than in 16 years of psych-therapy. The therapists here are amazing and even the techs are here for our recovery. This is an awesome program, and I thank my Higher Power for the blessing.

Delray Beach Florida Sober Living-After Care Recovery Programs

Following primary care addiction treatment, drug rehab and detox a man in recovery may find it difficult to reintroduce himself to the day-to-day living that seems to come so naturally for non-addicts. That’s where Boca House Sober Living for Men can help.

Many times men will complete a 30 day inpatient addiction treatment rehab program and then return to normal day-to-day living, only to relapse. This is beyond disappointing and can be very expensive. The research available to us today, suggests that the longer a man can stay in a recovery program, the better his chances are to succeed at living a happy, successful and sober life.

This takes time, and Boca House is a cost effective way to get acclimated to a sober life following inpatient addiction treatment and alcohol rehab programs. "A typical stay at Boca House is 6 months but many of our residents chose to stay for longer periods ranging from 18-24 months."

Boca House has given me a second change at life. When I came here, my mind was a mess. This place has helped me see my character flaws and learn how to work on them. Most importantly, I have received more knowledge to be a better mother to my son. I love and thank everyone.

I’d like to take this time and thank all of you for all that you have done for me. When I first started out, I didn’t think I had it in me. I thought I was hopeless. But with your help and countless others, I have been able to make it through another day. Boca House played a crucial role in my recovery and for that I am forever grateful. I believe that without this place, I wouldn’t have a chance at a life. All of the therapists and Boca House staff have shoed me unconditional love, and will always hold a very special place in my heart because I would not have a single breath of life in me today. Thank you so much, and I’m sure my mother would like to thank all of you, too.

I stepped out of a taxi with my bag next to me ready to fix my drinking problem once and for all. My knees were shaking and it was time to be brave and confident. As I walked toward the other clients waiting to enter the building, I slipped and landed flat on my @!#! A gentle hand from a staff member reached out and helped me. He reassured me that everything would be okay. I should have known then this was going to be a rough ride.

My therapist at Boca House warmed me that I needed to “buckle my seat belt and hang on for a rough ride.” She didn’t tell me that she wouldn’t leave my side through the storm. I love her for that. Another therapist gently stood right next to me when I lacked the courage to face correction and tolerated my relentless efforts to defend my myself and my addiction.

Both of you and Boca House are forever in my heart and I am thankful to everyone—techs, staff and the owners—for opening my eyes wide and loving me for being a human being.
